Don’t get me wrong, this is an awesome controller. It worked perfectly for the first day that I had it. Something happened though, in one of the online games I was playing, one of the random people that I was playing with did something to make my Xbox freeze which required me to turn it off and turn it back on. Not sure if it was just a coincidence, but it seems like since that happened my right analog stick keeps wanting to go down. When it starts doing that I usually just rotate it really quickly a few times and it temporarily remedies the problem but its still annoying as hell. I’ve had games freeze up on me with my first Hori Pad Turbo without it affecting its performance. Other than that the product is awesome, despite the problem I still give it four stars because its still better than the standard MS controller. The d-pad is perfect, the turbo programming and deprogramming is a snap. I haven’t found much use for the analog sensitivity controls yet but I’m sure I will in the future. It took me a little while to get used to the six button layout and found myself pushing LB and RB on the face instead of Y and B but that’s just something to be expected with a controller like this until you get used to it. It works in all Call of Duty games without a hitch, pistols fire super quick as do everything else and I have yet to be booted from a game for doing so. I primarily use it for Borderlands (which is the game that my system froze up on) and its perfect for me because I primarily use non-auto weapons. However, I have yet to see the left and right stick buttons work properly with turbo. The only time it’ll work right is when I put it on autofire (when you don’t have to press the button), then the stick buttons perform rapidly but other than that it never works for those buttons. Awesome that they added rapid fire support for the d-pad, I’ve never seen a controller where the d-pad’s up, down, left, and right could be set to rapid fire. I can tell that Hori put a lot of thought into this controller and tried their best to improve upon their first turbo controller. I’m still worried about the right analog stick though, I’m starting to get tired of my character wanting to look up every time the action gets heated in various games. Sometimes it seems like I’m fighting more with my controller than the enemies but other than the right analog problem this is an awesome controller and I highly recommend it.

This controller would’ve been such a winner if it wasn’t for the constant ghosting issue. Luckily I bought it straight from Amazon, where they will gladly take it back if it is faulty. I tried black and blue version. The problem on the blue one seems to be worse than the black one. I will still keep it, however, but mainly for offline games, where ghosting will not effect you as much. Getting high combo bonuses in Bayonetta without mashing the buttons was very fun and there are other games where mashing is required and this controller will save your fingers. Another issue is that you have to spend some time getting used to the controller layout. Another negative that you must keep in mind is that it will support a headset, but the chat pad will NOT fit!!!! So forget about typing messages quickly if you have one. While I can live without a chat pad, ghosting is far more annoying. Buy this with caution!

Review won’t be in depth by any means. Keeping short and sweet here.
Pros:
+Great feel of the buttons
+Face Buttons response is outstanding
+Analog movement is overwhelmingly reactive.
++Turbo feature!
+The right price for the kind of controller
-If over 40, defiantly would not recommend.
+Not made by MadCatz!!
Cons
-Constant clicking sound while talking over mic
-Constantly jumping forward/or moving when not playing or idle
-
So why 3 star rating? For the price it can’t be beat, but some may be put off by the erratic movement of the right analog stick and annoying clicking every two seconds while in party. I do not regret buying controller for the price. Considering there isn’t much else out Amazon has available.
Whether or not you agree with my overall rating is not my concern. Just submitting my review. Happy Gaming!

This controller I got suckered in to buying for the Turbo features and here’s my opinion after playing for a good number of hours both online and offline:
Positives:
-Sturdy build, doesn’t feel totally cheap
-Sorta fair price (although a wired official controller can be found online for the same price, so not really a good deal)
-10 foot cord (still wish it was 12 ft. like Turtle Beach products, I had to use a 6 ft. USB extender just to have enough slack so people wouldn’t trip on the cable)
-Turbo feature is the real and only selling point
-D-pad is nicer than the official controller
Negatives: (as a hardcore FPS player)
-Analog sticks feel really watery as far as movement. Much like other 3rd party controllers, sadly. Especially when you move up and down.
-What good is Turbo if you simply can’t aim with it? It is a challenge to aim straight with this controller no matter how you have the controller set up. I would say I’m seriously 50% less accurate than with the regular 360 controller with this one.
-Why did they make the face buttons so small and put the LB/RB on the face too so close to the other buttons? Half the time I’d go to press “B” and end up pressing a bumper button.
-Actual bumpers on top: A LOT to be desired. These don’t even have a click to them and barely push in! You can’t even tell if you really pressed the button! Feels like a piece of a plastic spoon flicking instead of a bumper!
-The face buttons are absolutely flat? It almost feels like they are concave! Feel really weird. Buttons should have been a bit bigger and have more of a round to them!
Average controller, only good for D-pad style Arcade games. Not worth it for FPS’s.

OK first review ever, I bought this awesome controller and it took a while to get used to the layout, and after that was done it was simpler and easier to play CODMW2, but i noticed that it really only worked on MW2, but that wasn’t the problem, we’ll get to that in a sec. It was awesome to have a Xbox approved and licensed turbo/rapid fire controller and have no penalties in using it, except for the hazing and accusing for using a modded controller.
Now on to the bad.
I had it for about a month and a half and then the wire that the protrudes out of the controller, pretty much severed connectivity to the Xbox, and I believe that the wires were being crossed, because when it did connect I’d press ‘B’ the start buttons action would happen and when i would press ‘START’ the guide buttons action would happen.
This review would explain now why the title is, what it is.
